By Train:
The nearest railway station to Stonehenge is Salisbury Station, located around 9 – 12 miles from the site. From London, direct trains run from London Waterloo to Salisbury in approximately 1 hour 20 – 30 minutes.
Once you arrive, you can continue your journey by taking the dedicated Stonehenge Tour Bus, which departs from the station and reaches the Visitor Centre in about 30 – 35 minutes. Taxis are also available outside the station and take around 15 – 20 minutes.

By Coach:
There are no standard public buses that stop directly at the monument, but you can reach nearby towns such as Salisbury or Amesbury via long-distance coaches. Services from London Victoria Coach Station operate regularly, with a journey time of around 2 – 3 hours.
From Salisbury or Amesbury, continue by taxi or a connecting shuttle bus to the Visitor Centre. Many visitors also opt for direct coach tours from London.

By Car:
Driving is one of the most direct ways to reach Stonehenge. The site is located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, about 145 km (90 miles) west of London. The journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours via the M3 and A303 roads.

By Taxi:
From Salisbury, taxis are readily available at the station and offer a quick and convenient option, especially if you prefer a direct route without waiting for buses. The journey takes around 15 – 20 minutes depending on traffic.
